Lara Stein is currently the Executive Director of Women’s March Global, the sister organization of Women’s March and the founder of a new consultancy firm BOMA. Ms. Stein was the founder and director of the TEDx program at the TED Conferences. In the first five years of TEDx, Ms. Stein grew the program into a global phenomenon with more than 40,000 talks given at more than 8,000 TEDx events in 1,200 cities in 133 countries. By Dec. 2013, eight TEDx events, on average, were being organized every day in one of 133 countries.
